It’s Our Moral and Ethical Responsibility to Tell the Story!

In the wake of the September 11th tragedy lives have all changed. That week was an awakening experience for me in many ways. I, just 2 weeks prior to the event, had a new patient from the Marketing Machine. His name was Steve. About 2 years ago, he was involved in a severe bike accident, where he became paralyzed from the neck down. They fused his neck at 3 segments and he suffers with constant severe neck pain and headaches. What is important about this 20-year-old man is that he is unable to work and is now depends on Medicaid. In Ohio, the patient is only allowed 4 adjustments a month. That week of our Nations tragedy, I realized the importance of everything in my life. Steve was the last adjustment for the night, receiving his third “arousing innate” Toggle recoil adjustment (Thank you Dr. Steve Hoffman for teaching me the certainty and precision in Toggle Recoil). Right before the adjustment, he said I wanted to tell you of a couple of things that have been happened this week. I am able to move 2 of my fingers much easier and I am getting back bladder and bowel control. He, his mom and myself were crying at this miracle. You never know how or when you are going to get your next new patient. I realized that risking controversy is worth changing lives and educating my community. Don’t be afraid to get knocked down or rejected or try some new type of marketing.  Never in my life have I been so inspired by a young man and his determination and his body’s ability to function better without interference. I Thank the Lord, My Family and Our Country for the freedom to practice Chiropractic.
