WELCOME NEW DOCTORS!
Welcome to this months edition of Minds of the Roundtable. If you are receiving this newsletter it is because I have either personally talked to you or contacted you through my work as a WCA Board of Governor or Chiropractic Leadership Alliance. I would like to take a moment to thank you for being a principled, subluxation-based chiropractor. It is through the efforts of chiropractors like you that our profession will flourish as the number one healthcare choice in the entire world. Thank you for giving back to our profession.

MY OPINION:
On September 17th, the Sheppard family welcomed Jarod Joseph at 8 � lbs and 21 � inches. With less than an hour of labor and no med�And yes my wife is Wonder Woman�

In the September 11th event that changed all of our lives, that week was an awakening experience for me in many ways. I, just 2 weeks prior to the event, had a new patient from Telemarketing, his name was Steve. About 2 years ago, he was involved in a severe bike accident, where he became paralyzed from the neck down. They fused his neck at 3 segments with constant severe pain. What is important about this 20-year-old man is that he is financially unable to work and depended on Medicaid. In Ohio, the patient is only allowed 4 adjustments a month. That week of our Nations tragedy, I realized the importance of everything in my life. Steve was the last adjustment for the night, receiving his third "arousing innate" Toggle recoil adjustment (Thank you Dr. Steve Hoffman for teaching me the certainty and precision in Toggle). Right before the adjustment, he said I wanted to tell you of a couple of things that have been happened this week. I am able to move 2 of my fingers and getting back bladder and bowel control. He, his mom and I were crying at what occurred. Never in my life have I been so inspired by a young man and his determination and his body's ability to function better without interference. I Thank the Lord, My Family and Our Country for the freedom to practice Chiropractic. 

From this experience, I learned and these principles further became ingrained in my nervous system and DNA:
1. The power that made the body heals the body
2. The nervous system is the master controller of the body
3. You never know what type of advertising (even Telemarketing) you may do that may affect the millions tomorrow
4. Chiropractic: uniting man the physical with man the spiritual (ADIO)
